Gate 42 Productions was born somewhere over the Pacific. Not in a boardroom, not from a business plan — but from four decades of watching the world from 37,000 feet.

Our founder spent forty years in aviation — beginning as an aircraft mechanic, becoming one of the youngest Boeing 747 Captains in the world, flying cargo routes across Asia, and ultimately commanding Airbus A320s and A321s for one of America's great airlines.

In that time, he collected something no flight school teaches: the poetry of departure. The rain on a Hong Kong lounge window at 2am. The checkerboard hill of Kai Tak rising through the mist. A Belgrade café where the smoke curls and nobody is in a hurry. A Pan Am Clipper Club where jazz played and the world felt larger.

Gate 42 Productions exists to bring those worlds back to life — cinematically, atmospherically, and without apology for the beauty of slowness.
